In Times Like These
Most of us probably know someone who has been hit by the slowing economy. Some of us know someone who has to decided some months between food and medication. Some of us know others that on the verge of losing their car or home or can't pay the rent this month out of no fault of their own.
We want to help these people. So, we have created a new ministry entitled "In Times Like These."
There are two parts to this ministry.
The Way it works
• Each week we will designate one dollar from the offering for everyone in worship upstairs to be set aside into the "In Times Like These" fund. So, if we have 200 in worship upstairs, we will designate $200 for that week.
• A ministry team will accept requests for the use of this fund. They will evaluate each request to make sure that it fits into the guidelines.
• This fund will be used only for people we know or people who have been recommended by someone we know. It is only to be used for people in crisis. It is not to be used for transient ministry, day to day expenses, or general handouts. Each request will be carefully vetted before funds are given. There will also be a limit to how much and how often a person can participate in the fund. We want to help people through a crisis, not enable irresponsible behavior.
What You Can Do
• We are simply asking everyone in worship upstairs to bring one dollar each week to contribute to this fund. It's that simple and that easy. That's all we ask you to do!
We believe that we can have a large impact on people in crisis with this fund. So, please join us.
Whenever you see this logo or see someone in worship raise one finger, remember to put your dollar in the offering.

Life Groups are more than a Bible Study class. We are friends! We walk hand-in-hand with each other striving to be the kind of people God can use. We study together, we pray together, we play together, we serve together, we worship together. It's the way God intended it to be. We have several groups that have very different personalities. If you would like to be a part of a group, give us a call and we will help you find the right one, or just jump in and see what happens.

At Madison Hills we want to make your first visit easy and enjoyable. We want you to experience the music, worship, encouraging messages and our friendly people. We know you may have questions like:
What should I wear?
Whatever is comfortable for you. We gather to worship, to meet around the Lord's Table and to hear from God's Word. Please wear what you feel good wearing.
How do I get there?

We have excellent nursery, preschool, childrens, and teen ministries.
What should I expect at church?
Expect to be feel welcome and comfortable. You are free to participate in whatever you are comfortable doing, or to simply observe. We do not expect you to participate in the offering. That's for our members. You will have good experience at Madison Hills! C'ya soon!
